Hi there!
Thank you for visiting my page and checking out my work. My name is Calvin and I've been shooting as a photographer since 2008. I started out working in various nightclubs, bars and lounges in New York City. It is at these venues and these conditions where I developed the technical skills and perspective on how to capture the moment at its finest. It was challenging and thrilling to operate in an environment that can be described as somewhat chaotic. As for my former manager said at the time, "if you and your camera can survive getting hit by a Grey Goose bottle, you can survive anything".
Later in 2012, I started shooting my first weddings through mentorships and studio work. Fast forward another year, I began shooting myself as a lead and up to this date, I have done over 70+ weddings in the New York Tri-State area and even travel destinations in Europe!
To me, weddings are one of the most sacred and exciting moment in a person's life. The memories of this extraordinary time is captured through the eye and experience of the photographer. The food will be eaten, the music will be silenced and people will eventually leave. What lasts are the photographs and film.
I strive for perfection in my work and I treat each client as if we were friends for years. No wedding is ever the same and I work my best when there is clear trust and mutual understanding of the creative process that is involved in your special day. I can promise you that you will not be disappointed and I look very much forward to working with you.
